It has one scumback, 2 channels, push pull bright mods, tone defeat PAB type thing on both channels, one is non master style, the other has a MV, Gain pot has push pull brigh and MV has push pull clip circuit, also body control that lets you adust the bias of the phase invertor allowing a compressed feel. It also acts like a power level adjust. footswitchable channels and passive loop standard
$1600...tons of options available but heres the first one.

very nice looking amp. Sound wise how would you say it sounds like??

Ill do some vids this weekend. Its a vox preamp on one side and a dumble-trainwreck thing on the other. It has that cool local feedback loop that dumble uses so you can find the sweetspot real easily and hold a note forever.

Interesting! some of the best clean tones I've ever heard were from 6v6 powered amps.

Sounds like it has a lot of useable gain and could also do the "prettier " medium gain EJ/Gilmour Stuff ?

Also, can it do some (not exact ) Plexi type tones ? Sounds like it might .

its not going to break like a plexi because the little 6v6 breaks up very differently. the hot channel is very middy like the 50 watter. Its cool cause it will hold a note forever. finding the sweetspot is easy.

But the question is........

CAN IT DO THE BROOTALZ!!!!!

:D

Interesting Jerry. Looking forward to the clips!

Have you ever done a EL-84 lower wattage (30 or so) amp. Perhaps matchless dc-30esque?

But as I pointed out on another Forum- it does sound a lot like the crunchy chords in "Turn Me Loose" which I think is cool.

I'm sure it does a lot more but the Chords have a lot of clarity for that much gain - a good sign. And shows that 6V6s can sound BIG .

I'd like to hear it sing on some more lead tones....I've heard "Cuts Like a Knife" solo was a Trainwreck but sounds like it could be a modded Marshall to me....so they can sometimes be similar-at least on recordings-maybe not when you're actually playing the 2 side by side- but a high gain Wreck is a cool idea especially the lower wattage.

Is it versatile at different Gain ranges or is that just a cranked Master we're hearing ?

love 6V6s
my od2r proved to me those tubes can rock.

looks like a winner you got there jerry. except the knobs not so much....look like grandma's cheap earrings

black/gold maybe, or chicken head
