80's Mesa half back 4x12 cab: what speakers are good for it?

Have a 80's Mesa half back angle 4x12 cab with 4 factory black shadow speakers but 2 of them aren't working on the one side, top and bottom, they're frozen up. The top part is open, bottom closed back. Was wanting to know if I should just get 2 mesa mc-90 black shadow 8 ohm speakers or 2 different 8 ohm speakers like something from Eminence?
 
I have one and I like it the way it came, with the Black Shadows in the top and EV's in the bottom.
