90s Charvels

Hi guys,
I want to buy US Charvel and there are not many in Europe.
What I've found is '95 US (San Dimas? ) in Germany for aprox. 1200$ The model with rounder headstock and SSS pickuguard. How they are pricewise/qualitywise in compare to newer Select series ?

The San Dimas 95 series are great guitars, but essentially 90s Jacksons with another logo. That one is the Traditional, and not as sought-after as the I-II-III-IV models are. I would take one of those four over a new Select Charvel any day, for sure, but I would say the new ones are more "Charvel" than the 95s are.

But if you are looking at a Charvel, are you really looking for one that basically just is a strat?
