94 Chrome Face Dual Rec Rev G Modded to a C????

Hey Crew.

I picked up this 94 Dual Rec a week ago. The store was busy so I quickly plugged it in and everything worked fine. Got it home and had a chance to run it through the paces and noticed that this thing does not AT ALL have a Rev G tone/fizzy sound to it. Just the opposite, very active EQ, gain sensitivity at all levels. The loop (2 knob) was flawless. With all that said, I pulled it from the headshell and saw that it has the one wire mod on the loop. Here is what was on the side (see pic). Does anyone have a clue as to what this means???? The serial number also had an X added to it. I do know that it has Schumacher trannies. The board is RF 1G. Thanks Crew!!!!!

Looks like it might have the European Export Power transformer or was going too then changed... see the red 240V crossed out with 117V written over it in black. That’s what the X means (Export version). Also the odd “Ground” sticker above the switch.

This. I have a black/chrome early Rev G Triple on the way, and while my C+ Coli was with Mike B I asked him about modding it to earlier specs...he does the Rev C mod to any 2 channel for 150. Pretty damn good price..of course you'll have to add in shipping and any other work the circuit needs, like caps etc.
But I will be sending this early G Triple in at some point this year...too good a deal to pass up Unless when I open her up it has an F board, then all bets are off lol...it has the G loop so doubtful.
