Hey guys. I finally finished up my tribute to Eddie. It's been a long time coming but it's finally done. Plays like a dream. Musikraft Frankie Northern Ash body and Musikraft AAAA Birdseye maple Neck. Original 1984 German Floyd Rose bridge. Schaller tuners. Jalen Origin 1978 pickup. Yeah... its everything I could ask for in a tribute to my hero. And yes I took some liberties with this build. I realize Ed did not have 22 frets or a Floyd Rose but I wanted those on my tribute. I hope you like it. Oh.. and the gunner strap is as not a replica but and original that I sourced from an aviation collector. Cheers guys.

Wow! Fantastic work. Would love to try this thru some of my amps. Have fun with it!

I've had my Northern Ash Musikraft Franky that I built Since 2009, it's been a great guitar! Congrats on the new fiddle! It looks great!

looks awesome
great job
I just got a jalen origin - install incoming
was it a tough decision NOT to use a fender style bridge?

I paid extra for the heavily rolled fret edge. Scott and the guys at Musikraft do excellent work. I'm very happy with it. I went with a 1 3/4" (43mm) nut shelf and an R2 (41mm) locking nut. Reason is I didn't want the high E string to close to the edge. Basically what Ed did on his guitars.

I have done this same thing many times. If the lock nut width is suppose to be 43 mm, put on a 42 mm. Cant stand the high or low e to be too close to the edge of the fretboard.
