I've been listening to a bunch of those bands, there's some i haven't heard of. I hear of a lot of stuff from listening to Pandora. I went for a while where i didn't keep up on metal bands because here in the USA this stuff is generally ignored, so I'm doing some catch up. A lot of these bands would be doing great here if it was 1987 again.

I've been listening to a bunch of those bands, there's some i haven't heard of. I hear of a lot of stuff from listening to Pandora. back in the late 90's I started a campaign to see if there were any bands putting out this type of music and I was pleasantly surprised. There were a ton of Killer band comming out of Europe who were just killing it. The fact of the matter is that I have many records from some of these bands that literally kill and the most srewed up thing is that when the popular bands from back in the day put out recent albums they suck balls in comparison. It's not even close so much that its almost like a joke.
There are records that I own that out 80's metal the big boys and I can't for the life of me understand how some of these bands from back in the day can put out such shit

The truth is that I listen to everything. I'm not just stuck in the 80's but it's sad when you have bands who were once mainstream putting out garbage. They should really get there heads out of their asses lol.

Not being grouchy at all. I thought the same thing when I bought the album in 2000. Definitely not digging the guitar plyer. he is good but not great IMHO .The thing is that there weren't a lot of guys doing this type of stuff in the mid 90's and early 2000's so the pickings were slim.

On another note, I think its like 1984-88 now in sweeden because bands like the poodles are doing amazing well given there song structure. I almost thought they were a Joke until I read how great they were doing and I have to admit that once I got past some of the swiss... I love the new album
