A new PRS model - BTBAM / Waring signature model

BTBAM are one of the best metal bands going. I hate their vocals but there's no denying how good the band is. At least PRS is getting with CURRENT players and trying to come up with new things unlike Gibson giving sig models to any washed up classic rockers they can so they can charge 7K for a glorified LP standard.

And some would wonder how a bunch of dusty old farts from hair metal fame that haven't had hits in 20-30 years still have signature amps and guitars. BTBAM are hugely talented (though not my thing anymore) and hugely influential in music today. Keep in mind this also isn't a production model, essentially they made him a custom guitar and then gave the public the option to order one with the same specs in a small window of time. If anything, he will get an SE model sig.

I am just shocked that there has been a Sig model for a metal band in 2014 that was not a 7 string.

I want to buy this just on principle alone.

BTBAM are very good. I loved the first CD, after that pretty much stopped listening to them but this guitar looks pretty sweet and I bet it plays nice.

Because the fans of the washed up classic rockers are more likely to be able to afford the guitars than BTBAM fans is my guess.

Because the fans of the washed up classic rockers are more likely to be able to afford the guitars than BTBAM fans is my guess.

Youre not wrong on that, which is why this is a short run that I believe will be followed by an SE sig model.
