Back in the days of sail and whaling, the crew would spend their down time doing their hobbies. First Mate Phillips whittled some wood with a pocket knife. The Boatswain Higgins did some scrimshaw on some ivory and the Cabin Boy Jennings played his guitar and sang bad country music.
One day while they were sailing along, Jennings was playing some particularly bad music. A passing whale heard the dreadful singing and became enraged, leapt out of the water and landed on poor Jennings crushing him.
Phillips cried out in horror "oh no I think that's Whale on Jennings".
