A lot of these pics I've snipped off of the VH FB page. I got temporarily banned there a few weeks ago because I was trying to help explain to someone how Edward modified his guitar with the 'crooked' pickups. I called it a 'fat humbucker' and that was picked up as a slang/curse/threat/derogatory word and the mods wouldn't listen to me


Anyway - this was one of my favorites:

I never talked about EVH a lot when he was alive I guess…. At least I didn’t think I did.
The day he died I got a bunch of texts and phone calls letting me know he had passed…basically consoling me. Didn’t know the guy personally obviously, but his music connected us in ways… it was weird. I miss Ed being alive. THE defacto musician of my life time.

Seeing those cassettes made me smile.

If found this pic on FB recently too. I had the exact same set up. I always left them 'disconnected' from other tape cases I had. They were special. Just looking at this pic brings back a flood of memories.
