I have the Planet Waves rubber one. Works great. Does what it is supposed to do, nothing more, nothing less. Definitely prevents some feedback for sure.

Every concert I have seen, if they have an acoustic guitar, they are using a sound hole cover. I figure I ought to get one in case I run into feedback issues at some point.

Any idea what the best one to get is? This one looked cool, but is discontinued.

You know, I've been doing an acoustic duo gig for about six months. I've never run into a feedback issue once. I guess it may be useful if your doing a loud rock band where the monitors are really cranking. Still I've never used one in that situation either and the last band I was in was really loud on stage.

I haven't run into any feedback issues either, but I figure I should probably have a sound hole cover on hand in case I do run into issues. I just found it interesting too, that every concert I have been watching on Palladia it seems has a sound hole cover if the person is playing an acoustic guitar....

I've got the Feedback Buster version. I don't really care for it. It seems to dampen the resonance of the guitar too much. I've also never had a feedback problem with either of my acoustics. Even with one of them having the Fishman prefix pro blend system with an actual mic inside the guitar.

ive tried different pickups, preamps, pedals, di's, and eqs with my martin, and nothing kept feedback down as well as this $6 piece of plastic I bought from my locl shop. Now I dont have to hack up the EQ on my PA to get my acoustic loud enuff. before Id have to hack the hell out of the eq and it made every thing else sound like shit.

Always had acoustics in the bands and never any issues. Always had a parametric eq in line, but rarely used. Me personally I'd rather use an electric with a good piezo than plug my acoustic, but that's me. What ever works for ya is all that matters.
