So I have a few nice acoustics and have been using John Pearse bronze mediums forever. Would like to try something different. What do you guys like and what type stuff are you playing.

I was using the Martin 80/20 bronze strings, recently tried the coated Martin 80/20 and really like those. I hope they last a little longer. I have tried the D'addario and Martin Phosphor Bronze and they are too Bright and metallic for my tastes on my Martin DC-1E.

Elixir Nanowebs. Reduced string squeak and they last a really long time.

Elixir: Acoustic 80/20 Bronze with POLYWEB Coating. 0.10

I've been using the elixir nanos for like 7 years. Got into them when I was starting to learn Michael Hedges type stuff and haven't looked back.

martin marquis extra lights, sound and play great

I just tried the Cleartones. They feel great, pop really well. Not sure yet...

^This... My Taylor came with these and they sound good and last a long time. I don't have a lot of experience with other acoustic strings, but I bought several sets of these because I was satisfied...

Elixir for this same reason.

On my Engelmann spruce/mahogany Taylor, Newtone Masterclass 80/20 round cores for non coated and Elixir Phosphor Bronze if I'm going for coated strings.
