So I love my Fly and it's ability to provide electric and acoustic sounds at the flip of a switch. However after my most recent issue with the crap wiring in the old ones (ribbon cable) I am looking to turn one of my other axes into it's backup. Has anyone added acoustic, I would assume some kind of Piezo setup. I was on StewMac and they have some stuff but I would like to hear what others have done. Yes the "hear" pun is intended. Thanks.

Has anyone tried the Steinberger Synapse?

Hi

I've been using piezo since 92,first in the bridge of an Ibanez guitar a shadow bridge. Lately it's been graph tech replacement saddles. They make them for many different guitars check out there web site. You will need the saddles plus a pre amp kit which they also sell. I love mixing acoustic sounds with electric sounds ,clean or distorted. I really can't do with out it. I have been tempted to try an ernie ball JP guitar it has everything built in. I also used Godin guitars since they have models with this feature. I run my acoustic sounds through a DI out to the PA never through an regular amp-works for me
Cheers
Tim
