(Adam Jones, TOOL) Anyone ever see this skull knob before?

Cool knob on his Micro amp, never seem one of these before. Anyone else ever see it?
Was it something MXR put out at one time?

Been sitting in my parts box for years.
No idea where I got it though

If you lived in the UK I'd let you have it for the cost of postage. :thumbsup:
 
I had seen them on ebay before. Its been a long time ago though.
 
It is actually made from a piece of one of the legendary Crystal Skulls. It's a huge source of Adams tone.

And this is exactly like I want it for the Legendary Crystal Skull! :scared:
It's the little things that make people happy, and I guess I should of known that at least one person would have to come in and say something slick.
 
I am pretty sure all parts sells/sold them. I have one for the volume control on my guitar.

Actually I think that is the one with a glow in the dark tape added to it as a marker/set point
