OK, I know this has been touched on in the past, but here we go again.....

Looking to pick up a few road cases for some of my more recently purchased heads. I'll preface this question by clearly outlining the cases do not need to be ATA compliant. They won't get abused too much.

So.....

I've been looking at "Affordable Cases". http://www.affordable-cases.com/ Great prices. The question is, are they "cases at good prices", or are they just "good cases"?

Discuss.

I have one 2 head 6 space Its been thru it all snow rain slush heat slammed into dropped once. Excellent bang for the buck. Built very well.

My 4x12 road case was made by them and ive been gigging it for over 5 years without a problem.

I changed the casters on it but not because they needed it, someone had given me some hospital bed casters and they are just bad ass so thats the only reason I changed them.

I also have a live in case that came with a amp I bought from a cat who toured the US for 2 years straight around 8 or so years ago and other than a little rust on the corners it still functions as new.

For the money I am really happy with this new amp + Rack roadcase I got from them a few months ago, great construction and really nice casters!!
that different colored foam you see above the VH4 is stuff I put in, im dumb and ordered it a 1" to tall

3/8 on my amp case
1/4 on the cab

The amp case really isent all that bad weight wise but a two person
job for lifting it onto tall stages for sure.

Also it you don't need heavy duty cases that company I linked to
has a light duty line that seemed very affordable, I can't comment
on the quality of it but if they build them as well as the one I bought
then it's some pretty good stuff.

I miss that amp

Here's another option if you have the space/time/tools. Probably just cheaper in the long run to just buy them, but looks kinda fun anyway.

That black LP Custom is killing me
I'm loving the SC with (apparently) Tremonti pickups.
I've owned that Single Cut longer than I've owned any other guitar, it's a early one and it has the best neck I've ever played, it just fits my hand perfect!! Out of 15 or so PRS that have gone threw my hands I always end up back on that SC......as for the pickup it's not a Tremonti, I've had so many different pickups in it I honestly can't remember what I have in it at this time.....lol
