I'm pretty sure the number of workers who could be replaced by an empty chair exceeds 11.7%, so no big surprises there.

Retail's going to get bitch slapped. All of the common tasks - unpacking a box and putting items on the shelf in a labeled spot. directing customers to items, comparing two items/helping customers find the right item, cleaning up messes, and loss prevention can already easily be done by AI and/or drones. It's known to be an area extremely amenable to automation - vending machines for starters.

It's hard to see what a human would do working for a 2030 Wallmart.
 
AI is simply a mechanism to shield the power elite from being held accountable for their decisions.

Population has to be culled, no better thing to blame it on.
