How much you think those would fetch on the open market?

Those are BAD-ASS... I am proud to say I play Hughes & Kettner!!

They are pretty cool looking. Seems having those speakers blasting away right next to those monitors will be hard to keep the monitors working right. I wouldn't mind having one though.

Geddy is probably working on upgrading his dryers now.

Screw the dryers, Geddy's rotisserie chickens were supreme

That said, it's amazing what you can do in the way of looks when you don't care about adding a couple of hundred pounds of weight to your rig.

Wow. That was boring.

He needs to pull out the old Marshalls. That H&K tone is a fuzzy mess. Never liked it. Can't even listen to them any more.

Too bad. One of my favorite bands. I guess I've still got all the old recordings.

I was supposed to see them tomorrow, and now I can't go. Food poisoning from Taco Bell (or Taco Hell, if you will).

:(

Most Hughes & Kettner tone issues can be resolved with modifications to the input structure.

English translation: If you play like shit, it will sound like shit.

All my Hughes & Kettner amps sound awesome. Mind you, they don't sound like a Marshall, but they have great tone. Just a different beast.

The following conversation actually happened:

Race, talking to his motorcycle mechanic:

Race: I'm thinking of having you put a slipper clutch in the ZX-6R. I'm getting some rear wheel chatter on high-RPM downshifts for corner entry.

Race's Tech: Well, I find that most problems of that nature can be rectified by alterations to the different rider-vehicle inputs.

<pause>

Race: So you're saying I ride like shit?

Race's Tech: Exactly

-------------------------------------------------------------

I no longer have the chatter problem, and I did not install the slipper clutch.

Cheers,

I got that from Subway. Sick as hell for over two days. I won't on the 21st when they come to Phila. My Wife and I will be there. My Father has the kid.

that was cool. I was expecting it to be a practical joke from Alex, saying the "steam" and all the dials and meters were part of the amp/sound. Instead, just a cool stage prop. Really wish I could see this tour, but long-gone are the days when bands like rush would do a 50 city tour across North America. Nearest venue for me is 200~300 miles away :(
