If I'm out of line in any way with my posts in this forum please let me know and I'll promptly cease any more meaningless rants such as these.

I'm of German Heritage born and raised in the U.S.
My favorite pet is my weiner-dog (Daschund) mainly because he's small in size with the attitude of my old Rottweiller! (Truth be told, I will never own any other breed again. Weiner dogs are little bastards, and for some strange reason, that's why I love 'em!)
I friggin' love bratwurst & saurkraut & you can tell by my middle-aged portliness that this is 'oh so true!
I played a private gig awhile back for a bunch of dudes in the German Air-Force, and not only was it a killer time, They brought along a few kegs of their own beer that was "Truly" the best beer I have ever had in my life. I'd go into further detail, however, if I told you, I think they'd have to kill me! ;)
I've never owned a Mercedes and probably never will because although they're awesome, they just won't hold all of my band shit!
I've never been to Germany and I don't speak the language, but I'd sure like to someday! (Go to Germany that is. Oktoberfest to be exact! I'm too frickin' lazy to learn a new language! I'm American Remember?)
Alway's wondered if German Chicks are as "Hot" as Russian Chicks?

O.k., that's about it for now. Here's a shameless plug for my myspace page in case any of you would like to be online buds. I hope to have some vids of the Diezels up in a few weeks. Rock On!

Weinerdog? Hmmm...ok... :)

It's Dachshund and Sauerkraut, btw. ;)

German girls rule. :D

If you're ever over here for Oktoberfest, lemme know in advance and I'll show you around. :)

I think that covers it, right? Oh, Mercedes...best. cars. ever.

Move Your ass into the plane and come over !

We have enough sauerkraut and beer.
My dog Einstein is a little bastard too.

Peter,
Einstein looks a lot more grown up then the last picture of him that I saw!
What a handsome boy he has grown to be!

When arrives Your dog, Stephen ?

@jesserides2005: No biggie man. Cheers! :)

We call that sort of a dog Dackel too. Dachshund is just the official name.

Peter,
We will not get her until at least the first week of October, and then only if the airlines say it is cool enough in temperature to fly her down from upstate New York.

Can't fit your stuff in a Mercedes? Get a mercedes van then like a sprinter. They fit loads of stuff! Or get a mercedes truck if it's still not big enough! ;)

I went to Hamburg earlier this year for my birthday. It was wicked! Germany is cool. I even tried out my very poor german language skills that I learnt at school 'til about 13 years ago then mostly forgot, and have never actually used before. There aren't many german things around here to read or watch to keep me in practice! It did me ok on a very basic level til the germans started speaking english to help me out though! :)

I saw a bit of star wars dubbed in german on the hotel TV whilst there. I wondered if since the syntax of german is the opposite way round to english, and Yoda speaks back to front, if Yoda was speaking german the english word order way around!

I did notice where things in Hamburg had been bombed in the war they actually seemed to have rebuilt stuff there tastefully and in keeping with the design of the city. All our stuff in England that was bombed we seem to have replaced with concrete drab crap! I guess we were poorer though after the war. Still we didn't need to make it so ugly, and as any of the prefab soulless buildings have been replaced, it's still mostly tasteless latest-fad looking crap, nothing like the Rathaus in Hamburg which looks far older than it really is. It made me feel ashamed of how ugly most of our british cities mostly seem to have become, whilst germans seemed to really care about their surroundings being nice. :(

The worst thing about Germany was drunken, rude, english blokes who had gone there on stag do's to get shit-faced and go to all the strip clubs and sex shows in the reeperbahn before they get married, and having to listen to their loud hungover breakfast conversation about what they'd seen or done the night before.

Basically it made me realise more how much britain sucks generally, but then I guess I knew that before.

BTW; the greatest thing in germany I've seen is miniatur-wunderland http://www.miniatur-wunderland.com/ :D That was ultra-cool!

Thank you for all the nice things you ve said about Hamburg. Maybe you should visit a few other german cities, f.e. Bitterfeld, Chemnitz or Bochum, Duisburg and some other cities in the so called Ruhr-Gebiet. :bleh:

You want to go home, instantly!

Cheers Otto

I love the German culture and everything about it and the way they build things. I'm about as far as you can get from German blood. hell, Hitler would've fried my ass. I'm Half Spaniard, Half Cuban but ever since I shot my first Luger and the first H&K rifle I knew Germans were cool. Then that was finalized after I heard BLACKOUT. German pussy isn't bad either, it's not Hungarian or Zchech pussy but it's good too.

Ah, and the braised beef they make, great stuff.
