Alt tones you love...

Often we run across a killer guitar tone that may not be in a genre or a band you would normally listen too...what have you found that just kicks you in the nuts outside of your normal comfort listening zone?

I'll start...the intro to this tune at least for me is the high end of semi dirty guitar...sorta dirty crunchy and warm and spongy at the same time, great guitar tones all the way through actually:

Yes it does. Billie's live tone is monsterous too. That "Dookie" modded Marshall fucking kills! (And I'm not a Green Day fan).

New alt rock album called GLOW ON by TURNSTILE has cool tones and such a great album. Thru use to be hardcore but switched to a more alt rock sound . The album is the funnest shit I’ve heard in years , 5153 tones from a non metal band

My buddy who is an old school punk guy that grew up with all the Descendents and Pennywise guys sent me a bunch of Turnstile links last week! Cool stuff
