Alter Bridge and a new PRS

Went to my usual guitar store in the UK today as Mark Tremonti was visiting and doing a signing / PRS promo. Before it started PRS delivered a batch of new guitars for the display and a lovely black gold burst tremonti caught my eye, so I ended up asking if I could buy it and no probs, it was rung through. The guys offered to get mark to sign it as well so I said thats great and left it with them in the back. Well later the PRS rep told me Mark was playing it in the back and wanted to take it!! When he signed it for me he was kinda gutted it was taken. I am sure he gets his pick of any others he wants tho. Got a quick pic and a chat after and he was a super awesome down to earth guy.

Also saw Alter Bridge tonight at the show they had on here in the UK, they rocked. Awesome twin guitar work, both of their voices were superb, specially Miles. Miles lead playing rocks and he had his Diezel rig that sounded amazing.

Congrats! Got my first PRS today actually!

That finish is gorgeous.
 
Great story. I have a signed PRS Tremonti as well. Great guitars. They are more than just a sig model. They just sound and play great!
 
of the 8 PRS that i have owned the Tremonti was the best of them all, seriously badass guitars
 
You should have sold it to him for more than you paid... If he really wanted it, I'm sure he could afford it. ;) :lol: :LOL:
 
I saw a rig rundown on YT with Mark Tremonti. I think one of the guitars in his tour rig was a swapsie with a fan.

He's done that a few times that I know of. One I believe is the tobacco burst he plays and the other is one someone painted like a Shelby blue with white pinstripes.

I'm hoping to pick up a USA Tremonti soon been gassing for one for a long time
