This from a show I went to a few weeks ago at the Filmore in Detroit. Best part was getting to hold and strap on Mark's Charcoal burst Dimebag Guitar! He was only using the PRS Archon and Mesa Triple Rec. The voodoo was a backup amp as well as the 2nd Archon.

Is the Diezel rig Kennedy's?

Yeah... Myles has been using that Diezel Rig for a few albums and many tours now.

I talked gear with Mark, the stuff he tours with is gear that gets him what he needs touring. He's a major gearhead and has an amazing collection on stuff at home he would never take out on the road.

Hey Cory, was awesome to hold that guitar. It's always been my favorite of his collection, didn't even know how to react when I got to strap it on.

Tremonti prefers CAE over his signature wah.

I think that is Myles' board, since there is a Columbus foot controller on it :)

How did it sound? I'm looking forward to hearing the Archon in a big room.

He was using the twin too I assume. I can't see him using anything but for his clean tone.

What's the mixer in his rack for? for a w/d/w set up??

He has his own stage monitors and controls them himself. He got tired of counting on FOH

Very neat! Great opportunity! Congrats and thanks for sharing!

:)

I absolutely love the fact that there's an Alesis Quadraverb in Myle's massive Diezel rig. I used one of those for years, sold it for $50 and really wish I had not. I've come across them several times, however, people are wanting stupid money for 'em.

These two, along with Brian and Flip, are monster musicians. Very cool you got to interact with them at this level. Jealous is an understatement. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Thanks for comments everyone, was absolutely awesome! These guys rigs sound amazing live, I think Mark's and Myles's rigs compliment each other well. I was upfront the entire concert and everything was cutting nice in the mix. You could still defiantly pick out each other tone but sounded great, not to mushy and not to bright. I have seen AB many times live and this had to be one of the best shows.
