I am wondering if there is a footswitch/effects processor that will allow me to switch through the 3 channels on my RM100 or switch through the 4 channels of my RM4 that will also allow me to add effects. Id like to be able to switch but say I want the 3rd channel on my RM4 to have reverb and a little chorus but only on that channel and be able to switch channel 1 or 2 and not have to tapdance to shut the chorus and reverb off.. I would also like to do the same with my clean channel but when I switch to channels one or two id like the reverb to be off. The rm100 hasa built in MIDI (which i know barely anything about) what type of effects processor will do this?

A rack switcher like the Rocktron Patchmate and a midi floorboard like the Behringer would let you do it. I'm a Rocktron dealer.

For this purpose I am using the Moen GEC9, perfect for my needs.

Offers nine loops and three of them can be used for multiple purposes like amp channel switching, connecting the amps fx loop or to simply plug in another effects unit like you can do it with the first 6 loops.

RJM it and done. RJM has several products that should help you accomplish this. As long as your effects unit has a MIDI out/thru, you could use a Mini Amp Gizmo to channels on your amp. RJM has some really nice loop/switching systems that are really easy to program.

RJM is probably the best route to go, shy of having one custom built for you. I went with the Voodoo Lab GCX and Ground Control. It's more cost effective and works well for me.

I've used both the patchmate loop 8 and the Payne Labs and are both excellent. But I went back to just using my gmajor 2 with my Rocktron Midi Raider.

My WOBO handles all my effects insertions (before amp & loop) and channel switching. Pure analog bliss.

Wow that look a little complicated for my tastes Impressive though amazing cable routing... if i used more than a hardwire rv-7 reverb pedal in the loop and an NS-2 running in front of the amp..
hardwire cm-2 OD pedal soon too,,
