Amp modeler that does 4CM

So I set up my HD500 in 4cm with my Splawn Super Comp and had some great clean tone going giving me a channel switching set up between HD500 cleans and the Splawns drive. I need to try it through my Helios, but it gave me some hope.
Got me thinking though....while I don't need a clean channel for live use right now I would like to get a rig with more versatility going. The drawback here is I don't often use many effects and really prefer a pedal board with my vol pedal, wah, phasers, whammy V, tuner and an EQ and Decimator in the loop. I wouldn't want to add the HD500 out there in front of me and could get away with no effects. So is there something out there that can just give me the preamp models and FX loop so it can be a 4CM setup with an amp and allow per patch ability to use either the amp or the modeler? Then something somewhat small out front as a patch switcher?
 
I'm in the process of trying this with an HX stomp, along with using the stomp into a power amp as a complete rig.

The only advice I can give at the moment is you really need to watch your levels in the stomp and there's multiple places things can be off.
I've been experimenting with the Stomp into a Katana return and tweaking levels has helped a bunch.

Still experimenting though...
 
HX Stomp can do this although I think an amp block would work better than a preamp block but yeah there are some pretty thorough videos listed on youtube that demonstate this. I planned on using it with my modded Superlead when I had it but never did. The HX Stomp is just a handy device to have. I got that at the same time as my Fryette Powerstation 2 and have been quite pleased with both.
 
I use 4CM with my HD500x all the time. Works like a champ.All of my time-based effects go into my amp's effects loop. Makes it very nice.
