Amp to Compliment Bogner Uberschall?

Hey guys!

As much as I hate to say it, I think the Roadster might be on its way out. The more I play the two amps, the more I find the Bogner to be fatter, more aggressive, and more organic.

I'm looking for a second amp to compliment the sound though. I'm hoping to run them together for a FAT high gain rhythm sound (some more mids from the second amp), and have the second amp add some better cleans and crunch to the setup.

At my disposal, I have a Roadster (not a bad combo, but the gain sounds are quite similar), and Mark IV (the Mark is currently having technical problems, so I haven't had a chance to try these together).

So, what amp would go well with the Uber in the ways I asked above?

Appreciate your input!

Eric

I always thought the Uber and the Recto would be a perfect match. You should be able to dial them in differently enough to get a HUGE sound from that combo.

yea im actually saving up for a road king to run in stereo with my twin jet i like the idea of running the recto and uber combo

but if your not happy with it your not happy........saw some dude using a h&k triamp paired with an uber and holy shit his tone was massive

i say go for something tight and on the dry side maybe an ultralead or sig x would sound sick paired up with the uber

Since the Uberschall is saturated, I would probably get something that is less saturated with more mids. A Marshall JCM 800 would probably work perfectly.

Jerry got massive tones using a Marsha with his.

I think a JMP 100watt with 4 inputs is a must to a multi amp setup. I have seen many multi amp rigs and the best sounding ones always had something like a non master JMP, Marsha or similar in the mix.

I hope a JCM 800 would work well with a MarkIV. I haven't had a chance yet to try both of them together.

Marshall Superbass or Superlead. Seriously. These amps will compliment pretty much any modern, high-gainer. Just feed the guitar into the front-end of both amps instead of slaving.

Mine sounds pretty damn good mixed with the Mako Mak4/Fryette 2-90-2 combo.

outstanding advice  I would go with the Naked for massive thick smooth crunch and then the uber saturated. im building a rig for myself sorta doing the same thing but w/ a Naked and a fish. sounds massive
