Have noticed there is no change in the gain above 5.

btw how much different is the sound between the speaker output and the preamp output.
dont own a cab at this time so running it to my Tech 21 PE60 via the preamp output.
Yeah, what he means is that components can burn out if you use a preamp or effects loop out of an amplifier, without having a load on the poweramp output as well. Absolutely most difinitely requires a load on the poweramp of any tube amp or you will at some point (may not take long) fry your amp. This is an ABSOLUTE NO NO![]()
