Hey.
Typical question I guess. I love the sound of my 5150 blockletter, but I can't take it with me on tour. Usually we come to places with OK amps with the amount of gain I want, but at some venues they only have vintage low gain amps (even though our tech rider says HI-GAIN AMPS!)
I've looked at a lot of pedals online to have as a backup in these cases and Wampler Pinnacle, Super Crunch Box and JHS Angry Charlie seems to stand out as a good hi-gain alternatives.
Then I stumbled upon these AMT Legend series. And the P2 seems to be a good solution to my problem.
Can anyone tell me about their experience with this pedal? And how is the sound using it as a regular stomp box into a clean amp (compared to for example Wampler)?
P.S. I play mostly heavy metal/epic doom stuff, so I like that natural sounding amp gain.
Cheers!
