Anderson Hn3+ pickup, procrastination and me-now with a poll

I have this pickup sitting in a box. I was thinking of putting it in my Les Paul this weekend. But... Maybe it should go in the V.

Any suggestions?

which guitar would you want to have more mids? that thing is supposed to be hopped up in the mids.


i don't know how much hotter it is than the H3? if it's quite a bit hotter, than i guess i'd be inclined to say put it in the V?


Les Paul being a big ass chunk of wood, just seems like you wouldn't want to put a super hot pup in there?


by the way, the H3 is about the same hotness as a JB, guess it's maybe a little bit hotter.
