I'm building some amps for peterc52 here on the forum.
First up is a beautiful old Laney PA 100.
It has three channels and a tube buffered FX loop.
Channel one is the clean channel that reminds of a Marshall plexi but with more shimmering on the top.
Channel two is a my version of the "José-mod", switchable between three or four gain stages and two different diodclipping circuits, and the volume doesn't drop in the clipping-mode like it use to do on those "José-mods".
Channel three is a higher gain channel with a lot of gain. It's insane tight and has a great bite on the top so fast picking riffs cuts thru the mix excellent.
Here is a sound clip of channel two: https://soundcloud.com/emaushenric/laney ... -channel-2
I will record some more clips on it in a few days.
