Looks awesome and there is definitely something to be said about the nitro paint.....because IMHO the guitar definitely sounds different when painted with nitro vs poly or laquer(again IMHO)
Awesome job bruddah!

Always wanted a single hum white one with a Floyd.

That is a wonderful looking fiddle.

Great job! There's a lot to be said of the simplicity of the single-hum guitar.

Im not the biggest fan of white guitars but Im diggin that Joey. I guess its the inevitable yellowing that bugs me..

It sure looks great with a tan though and I have no lines.
Oh Sailor!!! :emofag: :grim:

Beautiful build...I like it a lot! I have always had great luck with Musikraft parts, especially their necks.

As much as I think the new production model Charvels are decent guitars, I would much prefer to build an instrument like this to my specs. Mutts rule! :D

I've put at least a dozen Warmoths together and I only still have 4 of them. Such a crapshoot with parts guitars. However, IF you get it right, they can rule.

Parts guitars FTW!!
What are the 6000's like? I got 'em on my new USA neck, just kinda scared on whether I'll like them or not.

Plus donbarzini..... haven't you put about 6 or 7 Musikrafts together so far? And you still have two of them? I've put at least a dozen Warmoths together and I only still have 4 of them. Such a crapshoot with parts guitars. However, IF you get it right, they can rule.

DB's secret: he wraps them in oem Charvel gig bags....

Nice.

Looks a lot like the one JohnnyToetags was selling here a couple of months ago.

Very minimal. I like minimal.

That is one awesome looking guitar - simple, kick ass, like right out of a 1982 Charvel catalog!

How does it play and sound??

Looks sweet man! I wish I had everyone else's luck with Musikraft parts. But I'm done with them.

Pure Strats, Warmoth is my choice, for these there really is no alternative. I was lucky on this one and the last one. I know you were having neck problems with one of them, how long has it been since you ordered from them? I have to say that their quality is much better than it was a couple years back and that's not coming from, the pro who puts these together for me says so.

I got two necks from them. One about two years ago and another about 9 months ago. One with a hump in it that they wouldn't warranty because it had already been installed. And another beautiful piece of maple that was the most tonally dead piece of crap I have ever owned. Felt great. Played great. It completely ruined two different guitars for me tonally. I was blown away. I have put together 50 mutts over the years probably and have NEVER had a neck do that. Especially to one guitar that I knew sounded killer. It was like you walked over to the amp and turned the treble and the presence knobs off. Muddy, sludgy piece.

Plus donbarzini..... haven't you put about 6 or 7 Musikrafts together so far? And you still have two of them? I've put at least a dozen Warmoths together and I only still have 4 of them. Such a crapshoot with parts guitars. However, IF you get it right, they can rule.

This is not uncommonm for the quest for the right strat guitar. I've gone through at least 25-30 fender strats and variations of necks /bodies everything down to being anal about the fricken body contours to finally achieve what your ears and hands want to jive with. I went through this phase where i played nothing but unfinished bodies and necks ..no laquer period. Long Live Rock n Roll!! I have a spare muzikraft rosewood slab 70's reverse head stock, BRASS NUT, 11' radius 6000 fretwire neck with birdseye maple ( new)..for sale, didnt fit my bodies right, so i have no need for it.
