First I have to give a shout out to @warhead78 for being so awesome contacting me with an offer to sell me his after seeing my post of waiting for my name to come up on the list. And compliments on doing such a great job packing everything up so it arrived safely.

With this new amp the circle of hell is complete; or as I have dubbed them the unholy trinity. I now have a Ground Zero Hellion. I've only played on it for about an hours so far so I haven't even scratched the surface of what it can do. Of course I had to play it back to back with my Skeleton Key and Alta. There is a lot of overlap and all three can be dialed in to sound almost the exact same. But with their different feature sets, they can also be set to sound pretty different. I'm not going to do a comparison now, but will do one later on after I've had more time with everything. For now I will say that the Hellion, Skeleton Key, & Alta are full out monsters. With all the newer amps coming out, Jeremy, Shea, & Jason are at the the top of the hill.

Can't wrap up this post without some eye candy. Like i did with the Alta I plan on swapping out the face with something a little more my style than all black. I ordered some fabric and just for it to arrive.

Looks great. I love seeing these pics of your guys herds . Looks cool

Wow, you’re fast!

Happy NGD!
Things happened to fall in place all at the same time. My custom Iron Horse amp build which has been long overdue fell through. That morning the builder contacted me saying the problem he's been struggling with for over 6 months on my amp was on 5 of his other builds. So he was going to refund my deposit.

That afternoon warhead78 contacted me. He saw where I mentioned I was on the wait list for a Hellion. He was thinking about selling his and asked if I was interested.

I got my refund the next day plus what I already set aside for the Iron Horse was enough to be able to buy the hellion from warhead78. I had also asked Jeremy where I was on the list. He said it would be a while before he got to me and suggested I buy the one offered.

So, yeah... All of that lined up and I was able to cross off the last amp on my wishlist. It'll be a good while before I have another NAD. I've gotten everything I wanted and have run out of space in my room. I've also exhausted my gear spending funds. I'd have to sell something to bring in something new. Right now there's nothing I want to part with. So anything new would have to be extremely special to take the place of what I have.

The next thing is going to be building some shelving units for all my amp heads. I need to get them better organized. I'm almost finished with the first set of guitar racks I'm working on so I should be able to start on the shelves relatively soon.

I am sincerely happy that everything alligned so nicely for you. Rock on!

I would also keep that place in quee in case someone you know or a member from here wants to get one without exhausting wait.

Oh man, what a threesome, I'd be happy to be locked in a room for the weekend with those! Would love to hear some comparisons!

That Hellion sounded metal as fuck. I was flirting with it for a second as well. That is truly a stack of destruction. Congrats!

Does that face plate have a red tint to it, or is it just reflecting something else?
And/or what's that red swash under the presence control in the bottom pic???
