Where are you guys getting tubes these days.
It's time to re-tube the beast.
Last time I got tubes was from Laura but I guess she doesn't do it anymore.
Looking for some quality EL 34 type tubes

I've had good service and tubes from The Tube Depot.

My last two orders were from Amplified Parts and Tube Depot. No problems with either.

Just curious to know how much mA drift apart are your poqer tubes when you guys order? I recently gotta TAD EL34BSTRs but one of the tube is about 4mA to 5mA apart... i got another one thats 2mA apart but i guess thats kinda normal for a 2mA apart but a quartet thata 5mA apart is it something expected of for a matched set ?

I've bought some from VIVA TUBES on amazon a few times. I think they have an ebay store and regular store front too.

Amplified Parts/Antique Electronic Supply is great for power tubes.

A 5mA difference between the highest and lowest drawing tubes is acceptable in a matched set. That's within Mesa Boogie spec, and they match/test as well as anyone.

Tube depot here. Never had a problem. Always had good matches on power amp tubes.

I've bought from them several times through reverb. Actually quite knowledgeable, and helpful. They hand-picked, and graded a couple matched sets of KT77's, and 6CA7's based on the range I needed. Great service, and even better prices.

I was just checking out the Tube Depot website. I guess they have some NOS el 34's from 1955, only $599. each
I'm looking to try something different than the Ruby KT77 in my vh4.
I'm playing in a band that tunes to C and drop Bb
Anyone have any suggestions?

Yeah they are!

I bought a ton of tubes (about 5 sets of pre and EL34 and 6L6) about 6 months ago from a shop called VIVA Tubes on Reverb. Good prices and all tubes arrived fine.

Tube Depot for me as well.
Tonal Tubes on eBay has good pricing and matches them up good too, read some good reviews on them from some guys on the Marshall forum. You might try the Gold Lion KT77's, some guys who do a lot of down tunings love them

I saw Laura (valve queen) is offline, anyone know what happened?
She matched up tubes better than anyone Ive used...

I tried to buy tubes from her last year and she said she was done with it for now,
I had great luck buying tubes from her and she was very cool
