Another VH4 question

New owner of used 05 model - I'll gush later over how f'in sick this amp sounds.

Every time I power it up, the indicator lights come up differently. One time, the state I left it in (channel 2 light lit), next time no indicator lights at all, yesterday, all front panel lights blinking. Once I choose something (like to pick channel 2 no mute, etc amp works normally.

Problem, just a little funny quirk, or...? I haven't hooked up a MIDI controller to it yet (too busy playing through it), but previous owner says he tried that and it worked fine, no reason to believe otherwise.

Any other owners, or Senor Diezel - would appreciate an info.
 
Faulty MIDI chip inside the amp most likely. Doesn't affect the amp's sound or anything. And a normal 4 button MIDI foot switch should still work to change channels. But contact Peter and see if you can get a new MIDI chip. My old VH4 did this every now and then as well.
