Well, you know what I think.....
I think keith and I pretty much debate this...oh i dunno.....daily probably? I personally can't stand V30s with anything VHT. To me they are extremely harsh, and get loose over time ,and I just can generally not STAND them anymore, with anything really! However, this did turn out quite nice, sounds really good for sure. Although, I tend to think Keith is one of those players that sounds like "him" no matter what he plays through. Anytime we jam, or I hear his stuff (recordings of other amps etc) they all generally have the same style of sound. Nothing wrong with that at all, just something to keep in mind

I personally think Ola Englund is another example of this as well.
I wasn't their when they tried recording with my Deliverance cab, but I tend to trust keiths ear (well, SOMETIMES! haha

) so I'm sure this turned out better. However, my original bands first CD was recorded with the same exact cabinet and my VHT ultralead, and it was literally MONSTEROUS, sounded absolutely insane. It jus goes to show you that rooms, mics, EQ's, recording techniques can do extreme things to your sound, and combinations that you find don't work for you "in the room" so to speak, can work exceptionally well recording
