I have the Behringer Ultra-G and I know it doesn't have a speaker load built in but seems like folks use it with their speaker cabs.
Just so I'm understanding correctly:
Ultra-G
- No load
- Connected to cab by speaker cables so is a "go between", similar to Friedman Mic No Mo
- Will hear both recorded out and speaker sound in the room
Direct box with speaker load
- Has a load allowing you to unplug cab
- Only will hear sound going to console and won't hear speaker blasting in the room
Am I understanding this correctly? I don't want to blow my amp but I'm understanding that as long as there is a connection between the Ultra-G, my cab, and the amp, I'm still providing a connection so I won't mess anything up.
