Any buddy got the Halo core?

I've been looking at these since they have RCA knobs on them and they seem to do modulation as well as delay. Does it impart digital artifacts into a mildly driven tone like most DSP gear does?

I have an alien echo I'm going to try again next week when the power supply for my power supply arrives. The other pedal I was looking at was a spaceman meridian which is more modulation but I think offers some short 50ms delay but is all analog. Of course when I don't have any money both were available at sane prices on my local CL but I only started digging into these a couple weeks ago.

Not the Core but the Halo has been on my board for a year or so. It doesn't actually do any modulation, its the effect of two delays running at once. The Core is just the one Andy Timmons regular sound from the V1 Halo.

It says it's a modulated dual echo. My Rockett alien echo also does the modulated tape echo but I haven't actually tried it with my rig much since I bought it for a pedal steel board. I plan on giving it a run through this week....
 
The Halo is an amazing pedal. I might need to get the Core at some point. In stereo, that pedal just sounds amazing.
