This is the one with the Gotoh 2 point trem. Tried 4 of them from 2 different store. One of the best feeling guitars for the money, BUT none of them would stay in tune for even a minute. I assume it crappy nut work because they have locking tuners. Want strings either. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

I have the Green one. I have not experienced that, it stays in tune and I've had a set of 10's and 11's without issue, I think it came with a set of 9's.

I’d like to try one of these. Seems like a good all around guitar and nice value.

From what I have read, many people say the tuning issues are due to the string trees. Remove them, and it stays in tune better.

I agree that I have liked these in stores, and have thought about getting one.

Thanks guys I just picked one of these up as well as bought some nut lube did I used in the grooves as well as on the trees and all is well in the world.

I have one in green, EBG strings have a tendency to go out of tune, haven’t messed around with the string trees at all. Wouldn’t surprise me if it was the nut too as mine is showing a fair share of wear and tear from just basic tuning (strings are tearing it up a bit). New nut is on the plate for the guitar.

Regardless of all of the above, the neck is really sweet on the guitar - charvel hit it out of the park.

I have the green one too. Once the strings were stretched, I've not had any problems with tuning. Put a Friedman vintage + in the bridge and vintage in the neck. Fun guitar to play.
