The thing is dead mint, not a single mark. These play so awesome, the feel is great and these are solid guitars. Been wanting one of these for ever.

Thanks for watching

Holy Grail Dime geet right there. I'm gonna type it all out for this one: Happy New Guitar Day!

Friend of mine has a couple and loves em to death.

I'm pretty sure all of those Boogie Street edition crosses where made after Dime passed. They're extremely nice Washburns though. I think Rottingcorpse still has the prototype. I've got one of the Funky Munky limited runs and it plays as good as the original Dime 3's.

Thanks guys. I really love this thing. The guy told my dad it was signer by dime??? The guitar was owned by Overkill guitarist Dave Linsk. I'll check in what year these where made.

Chris

I think this is Dave Linsk signature, cause yeah these where made in 06 or cLose to there. Oh well doesn't change the fact that this thing rocks.

Chris

Killer axe man! Yours is in war better shape than my Washburn

Anyone have one of the original washburn guitars that Dime played before he started playing Dean

I've owned a bunch of them over the years. This is the only one I've got left. It's a custom job. I liked the Dean rust paint job, but the Washburn guitars are much better quality.

Nice axe man!

I had a guitar back when I was a collector that belonged to Dime. It was a dark army Metallic green. Dime sold it to Chuck Billy (Lead singer Testament) and I bought it directly from Chuck. Should of hung on to it.

Fuck yeah man, you should of kept that.

I have a V that was signed by Dime and the whole band in 93' on the vulgar tour, had it clear coated and it's hung on my wall since then. I have a hell of a collection of Dime posters too.

Check it:

I miss that dude man, he was THE metal guitarist of his time.

RIP

Chris

Fucking right he was.

I actually sold it off before he got shot. I was a nut case guitar collector. Buying selling trading. It was crazy.
Owned close to 400 electrics in those years (not at the same time though)
Most I had at once was 45. Down to 2 guitars these days and much happier. :D

No I was thinking about two guitars, there was the Washburn Culprit and another. My friend had a culprit owned by Dime that he bought at auction.

The other one I saw in a Washburn ad when I was a kid, it was a Diamond Darrell ad, not a Dimebag ad. Does anyone remember the ad? I think he was on a beach. The guitar was silver/grey with some colors mixed in and it had a dean/dime shape but the headstock was reverse and inline six not 3x3.

here's one of the ads that had it in the picture

This is the guitar that was in the ad, sorta, it was a washburn but dean did a sort of reissue limited run of it.

Someone post this ad! Ive been looking for it, can't find it. Sorry I dunno how to post pics for some reason the add image thing doesnt work

Yeah but that's the USA made one, mine is the Boogie Street re- issue. The USA one goes for 6-7 grand.

I'm so glad I got this thing man, I was one hell of a fan back when cowboys hit the street, that album gave me a kick in the ass to get my guitar chops in order.

This thing is a keeper.

God damn, I know what you mean, been there also, still at it though but less intense. I'm at 37 right now, including this one. I have a bunch of old Deans that I just can't let go. I got those when the internet was non existent, I called every pawn shop I could find a number for, stopped at every one I saw, talked to Dime a couple times for leads on finding them. He wanted them all though. LOL. I managed to get in touch with him back then, he had a fan number you call and leave messages, he called back!!!!!! I obviously met him when he came to Montreal and signed my V.

Whoah, good memories.
