Since I;ve decided I'm done on big purchases for a little while, I have a couple guitars that could use a pickup swap.

The guitarmory stuff seems interesting, decently priced, and they have a decent variety to choose from.

Has anyone ordered from them before? Any pickups you've tried? I'd love to get something bright and higher output, as well as another pickup in the paf realm for a couple les pauls I own.

guitarmory has a lot of great options ime. If you want a more classic vibe, try the scuds. The alnico 8 bridge version is super versatile in my experience, it can do anything from blues up to modern death metal if need be.. I'm also a huuuuge fan of the orion and patriot bridge, for very different reasons. The patriot bridge is just all out modern sonic destruction (think Gojira's tone on The Way of All Flesh album). The bridge has a very big low end and bright high end while still managing to be tight and mean feeling. It can be overwhelming in brighter guitars due to the high end presence though.. The orion bridge is much crispier in the high end compared to the patriot bridge. It also has a leaner low end and less output overall, which gives it better cleans. The Orion bridge is a good middle ground between the scud and the patriot imo.
