Any Kramer experts want to lend me their knowledge?

Picked this up at a local shop a few days ago and it appears to be a pretty clean looking baretta body circa 84-86 (going solely on info I pulled from vintagekramer.com about serial dating). Anyone know if I got lucky, or just ended up with one of the gibson versions?

On that note anyone have an old maple neck lying around? I'm itching to put this thing together, and am having a very hard time finding anyone who makes a reverse banana headstock anymore... Or maybe someone can be kind enough to point me in the direction of a reputable individual who still makes cool necks that aren't Chinese?

I would love to find an exact copy of this, but the lynch style headstock seems to be next to impossible to locate these days....and my chances of finding more TA parts are about the same and snow in August here.

You guys are awesome!

For a US made neck I would contact Jamerson/Musikraft. they made me a sweet birdseye maple neck for my Pacer.

Four holes in the control cavity area and the input jack hole not being made for a barrel input means its from the import line. The us made Kramers would have had a small input hole specially for a barrel style input and they for some reason only used 2 screws for the control cavity cover

Awesome I was assuming it was japanese because of the input but didn't know about the control cavity!

Body looks like a Focus 1000. Good bodies, I have an old Focus 3000 and it is one nice slab of maple.

Warmoth makes great necks !!
I have a reverse on one of my Focus 1000's
They are great guitars IMO !

Warmoth had to modify their headstock. Both the Jackson style and the banana heastock got stupid nubs on them. Probably your best bet would be Musikraft or KNE. I can get a reverse banana headstock neck from Allparts for about half the price of those, but it has a rosewood board.

Just hit up muisikraft look like I can snag one for a hair under $275

Thanks for all the input guys!

Just about anyone can easily remove them.

That's odd. Isn't jackson owned by Fender? They still have the other fender headstocks.
