The Custom 50 looks like a pretty cool amp and the YouTube clips sound pretty good. You just don't hear too much about PRS amps around here. Has anyone here had any experience with the Custom 50 or others?

I have a 2 channel "C" amp, and I love it. Great Marshall inspired tones. Sounds good at low volumes as well. Nice Master. I got it on here used for $750.00. Killer amp for the money. Your right, the PRS amps dont get mentioned much around here at all. Too bad really. This amp is comparable to many modded Marshalls ive had.

I recently played the Archon did not expect much from clips but was pleasantly surprised for modern rock it was pretty cool

Tight , punchy with a ton of gain and a a super clean channel

Have not played one. But do you think that after owning the Bogner Ecstasy and Uberscall, and the Soldano SLO you are going to be easily impressed by any new amp? If you are let me know.

I still have my '97 Ecstasy and SLO. Just looking for another amp. The PRS stuff looks pretty cool though. Might just go with a JCM 2000 DSL for that bright and gritty Marshall tone. :D

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Head version will be available too (in about 4-6 weeks) but it won't be any smaller than the 50

so its 2 5881 tubes with smaller transformer

Because some people wanna go outside the rigtalk approved buzz gear for more options.

If by "buzz gear" you mean high gain heads that have been making other manufacturers jealous for 10+ (Uberschall) to 25 years (SLO), you may want to reword your comment. After this many years, there just might be something behind the hype.

It's great gear but it's not the end of all gear. $$ doesn't mean better.
