Yes it is a stupid name but the price is right and it has some good features. Anybody digging it? I've been noticing while dialing in my YBA-1 that it reminds me a lot of my 1987x by being very mid focused. Problem is when you throw a mid focused O.D on top of a middy amp, you get some squish/compression in the mids that annoys the hell out of me. I dig my ZW-44 with my JCM800 but on a "plexi" NMV circuit, too much squish. Seems to me something more flat would be the ticket. Thought of the OCD but my understanding is that it is the cat's meow with the gain up to 9 or 10 when in boost mode but go past that and it gets fizzy and the bass goes up. I tend not to run the gain too high on my OD's but given the price difference, I am interested in this "custom bad ass" overdrive for it's use as a boost and tightener and not just because it is so much more badass than any other pedal I could possibly think of putting my hands on!!

It was so badass that I got rid of it after about 5 minutes. Just too badass for me. :dunno:

lol, how about what you didn't like about it besides it being just too badass and you not being cool enough to hang with it's badass blue mid bump light?

  To be honest, it sounded really generic. Like a cheap OD. It made my great sounding amp sound not so great. There are just so many other OD pedals out there that sound so much better. I'll take my Timmy or my modded TS9 or my BB Preamp over this in a heartbeat.

Wish I had never moved my BB preamp.. traded it for an RC booster and thought it sucked big time. That BB had tons of gain and crunched up nicely. I think i might just need to try the OCD.

OCD is cool. It's all what you're after.

My Analog Man Modded TS-9 (TS808 Circuit) sounds pretty damn good in front of a middy amp like the Cameron Atomica. I ordered the Koko Boost though for a cleaner style boost.
