Heard Boogie might try something new this year; building an amp that does not try to sound british. ;)

I was talking to the dealer at Sam Ash today, and he said that Gibson is planning on revamping their entire line for 2013. Single-ply rosewood fretboards will make their return, ebony has gone the way of the dodo bird, and the Historic '57 Goldtop is going to be discontinued because of a lack of sales.

I like that they're going for the smaller pickguard on the SG standard. Was about to buy a used white 61 reissue and now could get a new standard for a few hundred less.

If you're talking about the bat wing guard, I'm right there with you. It looks much cooler.

I have heard that Mesa is going to issue a Mini Mk series amp. Fingers crossed.

Some cool things will be revealed on NAMM.

Looks like I'll be there for the first time...excited

Am I the only person who has no desire whatsoever to attend NAMM? I've turned down comped passes like 3 years in a row.

No. I've turned down passes for the last 4 or 5 years.

Not really interested. I've got what I need.

The only "new" piece of gear I've bought in a long time is a Wampler Triple Wreck. I guess I did put some Suhr Aldrich pickups in my guitars in the last year or so.

I'm glad people get excited about new gear, I just have no interest. :)

I really wanna see a stage amp and/or rack processor based on Yamaha's THR modeling :inlove:

Hopefully something is in the works!
