Any reason why I can’t use this Belden wire for an 18volt power supply?

I’m working on a project that uses 18volt wall wart to the pedal. I don’t have any thin wire in my stash, so I figured I could use the red and black wires out of a shielded Belden wire. Any reason why I couldn’t use it for 18 volt application?

You should be fine
Thx.

I am converting an old MXR Limiter pedal from a plug to 18volt. The pedal needs 18 volts to the power regulator then a diode brings it down to 15 volts. I wired it up with some 600 volt wire (since that's all I had), but there isn't enough room for the wire, so instead of cutting anything, I'll just use thinner wire.

What do you use the Limiter pedal for ? I would understand a compressor on guitar but a limiter ?

A limiter limits peaks in the sound. It's not really a compressor, however it is an interesting pedal and can compress if set right.

Quickly said, the sensitivity and output are just as labeled. The higher the sensitivity the more it "works". The attack and release is where the fun is. The attack is how fast the note is affected. The release is how fast the note is released after being affected. I like the attack quick (100% counter clockwise on the knob). Release I like to set longer...like in the pic. I don't want the note released fast. (100% clockwise is fastest release).

Kinda the same concept as when you and I went camping and I put the donut on to limit the amount of….well never mind…
Yeah, I didn’t like that you slid that donut on my dick., I could have gone MUCH deeper beansey
