Well cool, thanks for chiming in here! I / we need a 1x12 or 2x12 cabinet and a 1x12 combo of some sort, if it has a loop that's a bonus. We need it for a 5 days though, 7/2 - 7/6. We might just abuse GC or Musicians Friend and eat the shipping... BTW your Nightswan clip delivered

So I'm guessing you'll be gigging in Walker and Park Rapids and stuff? Bond lake is near the headwaters. Becida isn't far off but I don't think Becida bar ever has bands.

I used to gig up around that area and Duluth/Superior WI but that was in the late 90's, lol. Chateau de Paulette was the premium gig us kids could never get but there was the "other place" in PR, can't remember the name of the Walker joint, Hard Times in Bemidji, Dawn Eve's jammers in the turtle river area. I think some of those venues are still there but operate under different names.

Spent a lot of time there as my mom was from Duluth. We used to get drunk on Olde E's we got in Superior for .90 cents each then hit up the Norshor theatre for the late night cult classic movies plus you could drink and smoke weed in the theatre and no one gave a shit. Well, it was a bar so the drinking was allowed. They used to have bands there from time to time but it was just a really cool old art deco venue. Used to play the Pacific Club I think it was called in Superior, man that place was a shitty dump. Even the sound guy looked like something they puled out of a trash can.

Chateau De Paulette! Ha! The one 'road' band I was in back in 91-92, played a Thurs-Sat gig there, early summer and stayed at one of their cabins. June of 92. Crazy bar and free drinks, which of course we abused. Another cool one was Baudette, where the Rainy river meets Lake of the Woods. Fishing opener, sometime in May...Had the Pro Walleye Trail fishing tour there that weekend, ESPN2 was taping. Dudes were rock star pro fishermen...these super hot chicks from Canada came down to hang with the pro fishermen. After the last night, Saturday, there was an afterbar at one of the cabins....big fight breaks out, we assumed it was about someones girlfriend....nope...it was about Sturgeon fishing rights. The Canucks could catch all they wanted, while us in the states had to follow certain rules....fists were flying....

An old guitar instructor of mine used to get his band into the Chateau year after year. That was a premium gig in that area and they did top 40 country covers and could nail those radar love harmonies.
Baudette.....I'm guessing the venue was the Wigwam? They used to book bands there for multi day runs and the place would be packed cause it was the only thing going on in that town.
Fists flying, lol, yep.....I initially asked velcro-fly if he had gigged up in that area before because, well, there can be a lot of assholes in some of those towns and I didn't want him going in unawares. Bemidji is the only place I have actually had someone toss a bottle at me on stage, lol. That is one of the worst shithole cities I have ever experienced in all my days yet Park Rapids and Walker which are nearby are great areas.
