However, I’m well past this point after the last 5 years we’ve experienced. I don’t even want to be associated with the crazy folks on the far left. I do my best to stay far away from and I hope they do the same.

Problem is America is obsessed with being entertained due to our crumbling education system. So the loud extreme voices get all the attention and drive the narrative, while the more measured, civil people get ignored. I’m not sure how the much bigger center left and center right population takes back control of the conversation but we’ll be on a fucked pendulum until we actually educate people.
Who knew Idiocracy would become a documentary from the future.

Most democrats I interact with are pretty far away from the crazy folks on the far left. They only support the whackadoo things (trannies in girls sports, graphic sex education for toddlers, ‘trans kids’, unfettered immigration, reverse discrimination, glorifying homosexuality, government overreach) at the polls and they do that because most were brought up to believe the dems were the good guys.
