Just got some Edifier R1280DB's for my home studio and wasn't expecting much considering how little they cost. I'd blown most of my budget on my new PC and so when it came to monitor's I had to get something just to fill the void thinking that I'd get what I really wanted a few months down the track. After hearing the R1280DB's, I have to say that I'm going to just stick with them instead. Includes a handy little remote control that let's me turn them on or off without having to reach behind the speakers and feel around for the switch.
