I'm interested but think I'll wait and see what people think about them when they actually start shipping and getting into people's hands. I'll really be curious to see how much they sell for used.

I don't know how excited I am about 20 watt. I'm feeling more and more these days.. I good Load, IR loader, and attenuator build into one interface and that space is getting crowded at the pricepoint. Boss Waza Core, new Reload, St Rock React2, Fryette. So many options. I still love my Randall RM 100 Lynchbox. I like the beef from running it in 100 watt mode or pulling 2 tubes and going 50 watts. The 20IR in this clip sounds a bit lean. That could be the Friedman hollow mids or the fact that the Kali is missing some lower mids too though i suppose. But I am not thinking " I need to have this" listening to the demo.

I'm definitely interested. I've had the SYN-1 a couple of times and it was pretty cool to set it up to use as an extra channel with my VTM. Problem is I set them all up to sound pretty much like my VTM. So I personally don't benefit from all the different modules (or even amps) that much.
I would like to try that Fortin module. As well as the DRect. The amp, format and functionality seem pretty cool though and I think the price is fair. Why do they insist on EL84s though?

I am not going to but the 20IR. Too many features that I will never use. Will buy the Fortin module when it comes out, and looking forward to the rumored Marshall collaboration. I really wish that I didn't sell the Brahma module that was the last to go when I sold my MTS heads. If I can find one of those at the right price, will buy that one again for sure.

Seems like it would be incredible to record or practice with tbh.

I'm probably going to get the 50 Watt Head with the 6505, some Engl and the Fortin modules. That'll fill my 6505 jonesing and give me some optional fun in the future when I want different flavors to play around with. And if the collaborate with Marshall and come out with a JVM module, that'd be heaven right there.

Brahma IS the single best Marshall Module out there to date. Dave nailed it with that one. I always wondered why his Synergy stuff doesn't capture that magic. I still have mine and one I modded to a hot rodded Brahma/Marshall. I think Marshall should be the one to design a proper Plexi with low gain and high gain channels.

I am more interested in the new Fortin Killer Kali module...

FWIW, it's rumored that Marshall is going to be the next manufacturer to come on board, so maybe it'll happen. The Plexi thing is hard because the Plexi is not really about the preamp only.

I'm a big Synergy fan. Have two complete rigs, so the 20IR is not my thing but it looks great. Glad to see them continuing to try to add value to the ecosystem.

Stoked for the Fortin module. The demo @JerEvil did at NAMM sounded right up my alley.

I liked the tones John Browne was getting out of it with his mics vs the IRs he recorded. I'm waiting for the hype to die down before checking these out as I'm tired of being sold the next greatest thing from every youtuber imaginable.

I already own two SYN2's with a PSR PA50 and a Suhr RL then into an AxeFx, so it doesn't offer me anything new. But if I didn't have that and wanted to get in Synergy, I think it'd be an excellent choice.

I’ll wait for them to update the SYN50 with the ir and load box tech.

Here’s an awesome demo of modules using the Syn-20. To the point, no talking once playing and with chapters. Plus he plays a variety of riffs, clean etc.

Nielsen made the Friedman module sound better than the Kali, at least for what I like, so I'm now less excited and willing to buy anything..
Might be how he dialled it bc I liked @JerEvil tones a lot more but I am now hesitant..

The synIR looks cool and in the hands of a skilled producer like Nielsen it can be made to sound mahussive despite it's size, el84s etc so kudos. looks like a good product.
