Just curious if anybody owns one of these and what kinda Metal tones you can get with one. Does anybody have one for sale?

I spent about 1 1/2 hours with a used one at a GC a couple years back. The cleans and medium gain tones were amazing on that thing, but the modern channel was kind of muddy and had a "buzz" to it that I wasn't digging.
Keep in mind that it was used, and it could've needed a tube change. I know Adam D from Killswitch Engage was using these live with a Maxon 808 in front of it for the end of their tour for The End of Heartache when I saw them, and his tone was pretty good. Then he switched to Mesa.

You might want to contact SFW on this forum. He currently owns one and swears by it.

I've never noticed any buzz, however it didn't sound smooth for metal to my ear. It's still hard to beat for the price.

I know intronaut uses 1 of these and a Laney VH100R. As far as album tones the two seem to be indistinguishable assuming they used these. When i saw them live the sound quality through the PA was so shitty that i can't really say anything about it.
