From what I have heard over the years teh G.ay W.hite M.ale guitars kick ass!

I own three. Love each one of them. I've never played a San Dimas Charvel, but that 's what they are compared to.

I'll try to post pics, but not sure if it will work.

LOL!!!! I know you had one just like this, but I got this one from an original owner w/ all the paper work. You should have never gotten rid of that guitar! Not to rub it in, but this guitar is one of the most versatile guitars I own. I've never owned a hardtail and love the thick tone this monster puts out. My Les Pauls have been sitting in the closet for a pretty long time. Probabaly time I slip them into rotation, but I can't put this guitar down. I'm always on the look out for another Jake E Lee GMW.

Now the purple one is hands down the best feeling/ playing guitar I've owned! The tone is very open and organic. The neck is pure sex! The white one has its own thing going on and is more versatile.

Lets talk about the orange burst. I was told that this was Lee Garver's (GMW) personal guitar. This guitar has a maple body and neck. Contrary to the belief that maple body's are bright in tone, this one is not. It is very punchy. Plugging into the orange guitar is equivilant to the other guitars w/ a boost pedal! I use to goose my Splawn w/ the other two guitars w/ a RC Boost. The orange guitar didn't need it. It's not because of the pick ups its the maple body.

Owned close to fifteen (maybe more-it was a good run). Never had a bad one.

Here's one of his new ones that I just recently purchased, and it's top notch

Yup, gotta agree here. Chris, you're a dumbass!

Seriously, would like to have all the VH replicas and my blue Jake back, but my friend from NY owns them now. At least I can go visit them from time to time....

I get mine on Monday. Would have had it tomorrow if UPS wasn't slow as balls. :gethim:

If that guitar had a hardtail, it would be PERFECT for me. I only use the neck single coil anyway and could easily go without the middle. That guitar rocks. I even like the color and reverse headstock!

Hey Chris, yeah its one hell of an amazin guitar!! plays killer and it sounds even better than it plays!

BTW i have it setup as a hardtail too, with the trem blocked. You'd really dig this one alot

Yeah....that would be my old Mutt too. FWIW - when I put it together I had the bridge screwed down rock solid with all 5 springs in it, may as well have been a hardtail. I sent Lee the body - he slapped the neck on it. That might be one of the biggest sounding fiddles I've ever put together....

And then I got it and GAVE IT AWAY TO DAN!!!     I'm so damn stupid.

Thanks for the info guys. Those are some great guitars you have there. I am looking for a 3 single coil strat type of guitar. I am not a big fan of Fender, but I did love the new American Strat. My friend is the one who told me I could get a better quality guitar from GMW. So I am going to check out there sight some more. Again, thanks for the info.

Now those are beautiful guitars. I have a Kramer 100st Striker with the Banana headstock. Unfortunately, my headstock split in 3 pcs. I am thinking of buying a new neck from Frankenstraat and giving this the EVH treatment.
