About what.... 8 years ago I met Trace at an Ampfest in Culpeper VA. Also met Ratter, Bstaley, Amplifier, cibyl and a few others that might be lurking here. All I remember about the Witch Doctor and ... another amp of his was they were very fat and crunchy.. Healthy amounts of gain. But I can't really remember a whole lot. Sorry but it's been a long time.

Hey man i have one loaded with 6550's amp kicks ass. Its heavy and brutal but it wastes nothing no useless bottom end flubbing or terrible highs. Just a great amp. It really shines when you through a mic on it. THe mid sweep is another great item. you can make the amp more or less forgiving depending on how you want it set, I recommend it. I tune drop b drop A And the amp just keeps coming back at me. Also clean is sick too, very shimmery also can add some grit to it if you like. only complaint is the effects loop when used lowers the volume i spoke to trace about it, He said he couldn't fit some circuitry in there but he can make a box that brings effects upto normal volume no problem,. Hes a great guy best customer service brought the amp to him twice for updates and further tweaking and he took care of me no charge in and out.
