Anybody play/own a Sterling JP100/ other Petrucci model?

Anybody own/play one of these? I'm really tempted, as this one has the real-deal Dimarzio Crunch Lab/Liquifire.. I've read overwhelmingly positive reviews. I'm interested in this one: https://reverb.com/item/28590364-sterli ... tage-burst

I'm looking at Wolfgangs too, as well as Charvels. I don't like the bridge limitations of the EVH, the modifications needed to change the pickups, and don't want the limited pickup options of the Charvels.. I already have a Jackson DK with '59/JB, and don't really want Distortions.

The JP100D is checking all the boxes..

I had JP100 without DiMarzios (installed later) but it wasn't very good guitar. It souded flat and somewhat dead. Neck shape and finish was different from JP6 I had.
On the other side, I have played older plain black JP50 and that one was much closer to EBMM JP.
Charvel is much safer bet.

FWIW,,,and you may not be eluding to this... but if you are, and a pup swap in the EVH is the way you want to go..

i just had Jalen build me a pup..told him it was going in a MIM EVH 5150 Series, and i knew the EVH line had (sort of) non-standard routes... and he responded with, yep no problem, i'll modify the feet and round the corners of base plate, no problems. had in lots of the EVH routes, no issues. took it to my tech, and it fit as it should, no issues at all...

I took the plunge. I got a JP100D KOA with the Liquifire/Crunchlabs pretty cheap. It'll be here tomorrow.

The guy that listed it on Reverb is a guitar tech, and assured me it played "Amazing", and it's already been set up with .010's, so, we'll see!

Me neither, total gamble. But, they can be had cheap. It checks all the boxes, with locking tuners and the upgraded Dimarzios. Question will be neck profile, and tuning stability....Though, I have my trem covered with my Jackson.
